If you are looking for a way to celebrate the festive season with your family in London, you might want to check out Wishmas: A Fantastical Christmas Adventure, a new and unique immersive experience that will take you on a magical journey to save Christmas wishes.
Wishmas is the brainchild of Elgiva Field, the former Associate Director of the immersive theatre company Punchdrunk, and features live actors, incredible puppetry, and captivating illusions. The experience is designed to appeal to both children and adults, and promises to be the most spectacular and exciting Christmas event in London this year.
The adventure begins at the Old Bauble Factory, a hidden venue underneath Waterloo Station, where you will enter a portal to the world of Wishmas. There, you will meet the Wishkeepers, a group of characters who are responsible for collecting and sorting wishes from all over the world. You will also encounter the Wishmas Robins, adorable creatures who help the Wishkeepers by carrying the wishes in their beaks.
You will then board the Wishmas Train, a special train that can fly and show you amazing sights. You will see London from above, with landmarks like the London Eye and Big Ben, and then soar into the sky, where you will witness the stunning Northern Lights. Along the way, you will also learn some secrets about how Christmas works and what makes it so special.
But not everything is smooth sailing, as you will soon discover. Some wishes have gone missing, and it is up to you and your group to help the Wishkeepers find them and deliver them to Father Christmas. You will have to use your creativity, teamwork, and a bit of magic to solve the mystery and save the day.
At the end of the experience, you will get to see Father Christmas himself and receive a special souvenir from him. You will also have the opportunity to explore the Wishmas Market, where you can enjoy delicious treats and drinks from premium partners Fortnum & Mason and Pip Organic. You can also browse through some festive crafts and gifts, and take photos with the Wishmas Robins and the Wishkeepers.
Wishmas: A Fantastical Christmas Adventure is running from 14 November 2023 to 9 January 2024 at the Old Bauble Factory in London.
