The British Fashion Awards 2023, presented by Diet Coke, celebrated the best of British and international fashion on Monday night, with a star-studded ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The event, hosted by actor Jodie Turner-Smith, honored the achievements of designers, models, influencers, and icons who have shaped the industry in the past year.

Some of the highlights included Anne Hathaway in a vintage Valentino gown, Gwyneth Paltrow in a sequined ombré dress by the same label, Paloma Elsesser in a cut-out black Ferragamo gown, Lewis Hamilton in an all-white Wales Bonner outfit, and Kate Moss in a vintage David Fielden dress and YSL cape.
The awards ceremony also recognized the talent and vision of the people behind the scenes, who have contributed to the growth and sustainability of the fashion industry. Among the winners were Pierpaolo Piccioli, who received the Designer of the Year award for his work at Valentino, Paloma Elsesser, who made history as the first plus size model to win the Model of the Year award, and Michaela Coel, who was presented with the Leader of Change award for her groundbreaking series I May Destroy You.
One of the most emotional moments of the night was when Gwyneth Paltrow presented the Outstanding Achievement Award to Valentino Garavani, the legendary founder of Valentino, who was unable to attend due to health reasons. His longtime partner and business associate, Giancarlo Giammetti, accepted the award on his behalf, and thanked Paltrow and the British Fashion Council for the honor.
