Creativity’s UK covers visual arts, exhibitions, film, music, design and the wider creative industries, with a focus on the United Kingdom. This page explains how we work.

Accuracy and fact-checking

  • Names, dates, venues and figures are checked against primary sources: gallery and museum announcements, artists’ own statements and portfolios, public records and reputable press.
  • Where facts cannot be verified, we either omit them or clearly attribute them to their source.
  • Quotes are used only from named, real sources. We do not invent or reconstruct quotes.

Corrections

If you believe we have published an error, write to [email protected] with a link to the article. We review every report; confirmed errors are corrected in the text.

Bylines

Articles are written by our staff writers and by guest contributors. Guest pieces always carry the author’s own byline. A full list is on the Contributors page.
