Dancing is not only a form of art and expression, but also a way of giving back and making a difference. That was the spirit of the Hilton London Metropole Christmas Charity Ball, which took place on Saturday, 14th December 2019. The ball was a collaboration between the DM Thomas Foundation and the Hilton Foundation, two organizations that support children’s education and health around the world. The aim of the ball was to raise funds for St Mary’s Hospital Children, a charity that provides care and support for critically ill children and their families in London.
One of the highlights of the ball was the dazzling performance of the dancers, who showcased their skills and talents in various styles and genres. The dancers came from different backgrounds and countries, but shared a common passion for dance and a desire to help the children in need. The dancers included:

The dancers received a standing ovation from the audience, who were impressed by their energy, creativity, and professionalism. The dancers also expressed their gratitude to the organizers, the sponsors, and the guests for their support and generosity. They said that they were honored to be part of the event and to contribute to the cause of St Mary’s Hospital Children. They said that they hoped that their dancing would bring joy and hope to the children and their families, who face incredible challenges every day.
The Christmas Charity Ball was a night of dancing and festive fun, but also a night of compassion and generosity. The ball raised over £5,000 for St Mary’s Hospital Children, which will help provide state-of-the-art medical equipment, family support, and research funding for the children’s intensive care unit.
