The performance starts in the evening when twilight descends on the city. In the light of the night illumination, the water show is a spectacular sight. Several thousand pinpoint and two dozen colored projectors illuminate the pool area. The musical performance takes place every 30 minutes. The play of jets is accompanied by famous world compositions.
Dubai Marina
Near the artificial sand island Palm Jumeirah, an elite marina for yachts and small boats has been built. The marina area is called Dubai Marina and is built up with fashionable high-rise buildings. At the marina, you can park your own boat, charter a sailboat for walks or cargo transportation. Near the marina is a yacht club offering catamarans and ATVs for rent.
Dubai Frame
The grand opening of the unusual skyscraper Dubai Frame took place in 2018. The skyscraper is built in the form of a huge golden frame, the sides of which are connected by covered bridges – aerial and ground. The structure is painted in golden shades and rises above the ground by one and a half hundred meters. The area of the frame is more than 7 hectares. To reach the top floor in a high-speed elevator will take just over a minute.
The main materials used in construction are laminated glass, concrete, and steel. Inside the Dubai Frame skyscrapers, you can visit an interactive museum, an observation deck, cafes, and shops. The building in the form of a golden frame symbolizes the country’s transition to a rich oil life and is built at the intersection of historical areas with modern quarters.
Dubai Mall
In the iconic Dubai quarter Burj Khalifa is located the world’s largest shopping center – Dubai Mall. On the territory of the complex with a total area of 120 hectares, a quarter of which is allocated for trade, there are hundreds of clothing stores, accessories, household appliances, food, and other goods. In the “Fashion Island,” seventy shops of famous world brands have opened their doors.
Also under the roof of Dubai Mall are cultural and entertainment facilities – theme parks, cinemas, educational centers, an ice rink, and even an aquarium. Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi
Huge domes and 4 minarets of a magnificent Muslim temple are the first thing you will see when crossing Al-Makta Strait over the bridge of the same name. Being a symbol of faith and embodying the wealth of the state, the mosque is named after Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, one of the country’s founders.
In the style of the luxurious white building, motifs of Moorish and Persian architecture can be discerned. It is adorned with 1000 columns and 82 white marble domes. The interiors impress with a colossal chandelier shining with Swarovski crystals and a giant carpet woven by masters from Iran. The prayer hall and courtyard of the mosque, decorated with colorful mosaic, can accommodate more than 41,000 believers.
Burj Al Arab
The Burj Al Arab hotel, shaped like an Arabian dhow, is considered one of Dubai’s landmarks, along with the Burj Khalifa skyscraper and the Emirates Twin Towers. The Burj Al Arab hotel is built directly in the sea, on an artificial island. It is connected to the mainland by a bridge. For a while, the Burj Al Arab was the tallest hotel building in the world, with a height of 320 meters. The Burj Al Arab positions itself as a premium hotel, and it truly lives up to that reputation with its top-notch customer service.
Madinat Jumeirah Oasis
Madinat Jumeirah Oasis is a luxurious resort in Dubai, stretching along the coastline for 21 kilometers. It is home to five-star hotels, luxury villas, summer houses, restaurants, and green gardens. Tourists visit Jumeirah to enjoy tranquility and shop at the local eastern market.
The town is built in a unified Arabian style, with low-rise buildings in a light sandy color and flat roofs, a picturesque market stylized to resemble an ancient eastern bazaar, and five kilometers of canals laid out in traditional eastern gardens. You can experience a modern Arabian fairy tale by taking a water taxi, known as an “abra,” which departs from the Jumeirah Mina A’Salam hotel pier every 20 minutes. Madinat Jumeirah market resembles an eastern bazaar only in appearance. Here, high prices and bargaining are not customary. Regular market stalls are interspersed with expensive boutiques selling jewelry, exclusive items from renowned brands, and handmade products.
