“Let’s say, for starters, I would say that I fell in love with colour,” thus begins the odyssey into blue – a hue that has long stood as a symbol of both tranquillity and melancholia. It’s a colour that has the power to evoke the vastness of oceans and the infinity of skies. In Bluets, Nelson transforms this colour into a character, one that embodies the essence of lost love, grief, and solitude.
