Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons at the Harold Pinter Theatre

Aidan Turner and Jenna Coleman will star in Sam Steiner’s debut play Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons at the Harold Pinter Theatre.

This 80-minute production is by no means a traditional love story. Musician Oliver and lawyer Bernadette fall in love in a pet cemetery. And even if that fact doesn’t strike you as a bit odd, the bill of silence is certainly something out of the ordinary. Under the new law, everyone can say a maximum of 140 words a day. But Bernadette and Oliver continue to communicate without opening their mouths – they use sign language, Morse code, charades and eye contact to communicate their feelings to each other. And sometimes the moments of silence themselves speak volumes about them.

The play will premiere in 2023. It will run at Harold Pinter Theatre from January 18 to March 18.
