Emilia Clarke and Indira Varma, familiar from Game of Thrones, will soon return to the stage of the Harold Pinter Theatre!

Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull, a new adaptation by British playwright Anja Reiss, premiered at the Playhouse Theatre in March 2020, but was put on hold. And now The Seagull returns to the London stage. The role of Nina Zarechnaya will be her West End debut for Emilia Clarke.

The production is directed by Jamie Lloyd. The Seagull was originally planned as one of three plays in his Playhouse season – along with Cyrano de Bergerac and A Doll’s House. “Cyrano de Bergerac” starring James McAvoy will return to the West End later this year.

“The Seagull will run at the Harold Pinter Theatre from 29 June to 10 September.
